I LOVE this video! I really like the beginning, where its like a film and then develops into the music video. This was Gwen's first single from her debut solo album 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby' so i think the film part was just letting everyone know what her album's about and giving it some background. This song is about Gwen's lack of inspiration and fear of producing the album. I love the alice in wonderland intertextual references, and also the harajuku girls in the video.
